Master's degrees
Postgraduate teaching in Social and Policy Studies comprises the MA in Childhood, Youth and Social Policy and the MA in Digital Media and Society.
Social Policy staff teach a major part of the MA in Childhood, Youth and Social Policy, which offers students a grounding in understanding key social issues affecting children and young people in contemporary societies and also trains students to conduct innovative research in social policy.
Sociologists focusing on digital and new technologies teach the core part of the MA in Digital Media and Society, which focuses on how digital media is used in everyday context and how digital technologies are giving rise to new models of economy and consumption. The programme also trains students in studying digital media from online ethnography to surveys and experiments.
