Regulation XXIV
Special Regulations for the Diploma in Economics
(Version effective from 1 August 2011)
1. Further to para. 12 of Ordinance XXXIII, there shall be Programme Regulations to be read in conjunction with these Regulations.
2. The School of Business and Economics may admit to the programme students whose experience and qualifications are considered appropriate having regard to the nature and academic standard of the programme.
3. In order to qualify for the award of the Diploma in Economics, a student must have satisfied the examiners by accumulating credit in the assessment of modules in the manner specified in the Programme Regulations.
4. The assessment of each module shall be conducted by a Review Board constituted in accordance with the provisions of Regulation XXII and acting in a manner analogous to the procedure set out in Regulation XXI.
5. The Diploma in Economics will be awarded by Programme Boards constituted in accordance with Regulation XXII and acting in a manner analogous to the procedure set out in Regulation XXI.
