Information for Parents & Families

Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity works with students to take control over their difficulties in the context of their studies, and thereby aims to assist students to have a more productive approach to their education. We do this in a number of ways and recognise the importance of families, friends and specialist services in achieving these aims.
You may be instrumental in informing the student about the support we provide. You may also be making enquiries on a students’ behalf about what support or arrangements may be of benefit.
In line with GDPR, we can only discuss a student's circumstances with a third party with the students explict consent. If you contact our office we will be pleased to listen to you and advise you on how you might support someone in accessing support. However, we will not be able to discuss a student's specific circumstances with you. We hope that the information we can provide you with will enable the student to make an informed decision about access to services.
If you think we may be able to help someone you know please contact us to discuss this. Our contact details are on the right-hand side of this page.
