Entry requirements for the UK after 1 October 2021
Following the UK leaving the European Union (EU) from 1 October 2021 EU/EEA or Swiss nationals will no longer be able to use a national identity card as a travel document to enter the UK, and will be required to use a passport, unless you have settled or pre-settled status under the EU settlement scheme.
